First Crop

Yesterday I clipped our first crop of lettuces! Ended up with a ton of romaine and green leaf, as well as arugula. Made a huge salad over at Anders' house to accompany his BBQ'd pork shoulder. Everythig was hella tasty.

The rest of the crops are coming along. The kale is not thriving as much as it did last year unfortunately, but oh well. Oh, and the neighbors stupid cat dug a kale plant out for some reason, so we are down to three. Last year the cat used the corn as a scratching post—I hate cats.
